At Chicken Shop Date we have taken steps to ensure that our garments can be sustainably produced and distributed. All products are Print On Demand to reduce the amount of waste within the production line.

Our hoodies and t-shirts only use factories that are either WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified or members of BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative). This monitors every step of the entire manufacturing process, from yarn to garment. It’s more important than ever for us to ensure that we, and our global partners, share a commitment to fair and safe working practices.

All garments are also now officially recognised as 100% free of any animal ingredients. ThePETA-Approved Vegan logo was established to label products that no animal had to suffer for and highlight vegan fashion items commitment to animals.

Our entire t-shirt collection complies Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, that verify that no illegal or harmful substances are used in the production of any of our garments. The t-shirt range is GOTS certified and fulfils all legal obligations of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The certification only applies to products which are labelled and/or marked with the GOTS logo. If a certified product is not treated or decorated in compliance with GOTS guidelines, the logo and all reference to GOTS must be removed. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

Our purse range is made with cotton that was bought at a price that allows cotton producers in developing countries to sustainably invest in their businesses and communities and independently verified as 100% certified organic cotton.

Our purses are EarthAware® products which are products that support our efforts to steadily reduce our environmental footprint through better design, reduced packaging, more sustainable materials and support for local environmental initiatives.
